About Me

* Please note that, while I respect everyone, I am not gay and also have a girlfriend. If you are looking for dating, please consider using another app or site.

I'm originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, but I've been living on the stunning west coast of Ireland since 2017. I work in the IT industry.

I have a wide range of hobbies, including traveling to new places, hiking, kayaking, hitting the gym, watching sports and movies, listening to music, reading books, learning new languages (currently working on Portuguese), and exploring new cultures, among others.

I used to be actively involved in sports, having played badminton in the Irish league, run marathons and ultramarathons, and even snowboarded. I'm highly passionate about sports and frequently travel to England and Portugal to watch football (and the beer is on me if you can correctly guess which teams I support). Since my move to Ireland, I've also started following rugby and hurling (not to be confused with curling!) and I am a season ticket holder for both sports.

I consider myself a friendly, open-minded, respectful, adventurous, and easy-to-get-along-with person who enjoys connecting with others.

As a Couchsurfing guest, I appreciate spending time with my hosts, but I also value having some personal space to explore the local surroundings.

As a host, I would love to spend time talking with you, showing you the places of interest in Ennis and the surrounding areas, and even joining you for a coffee or a pub visit. However, please be aware that my busy work schedule may limit my availability during the day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people, share experiences, and learn.

One of the reasons why I host travelers is my desire to meet new people, learn about their cultures, and spend quality time together. I believe that Couchsurfing is not just about saving money on accommodations when traveling but, primarily, about the connections made, sharing experiences, and learning from one another. So, if you are only looking for a free place to stay, please consider other options.

When sending a request, please show me that you've taken a few minutes to read my profile by adding the code word "Dia duit" (Irish for "Hello") in your message.

Currently reading the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown (it's quite good by the way).
