Hey everyone! I’m Russian currently pursuing a master's in Data Science in the Netherlands. Before I started my studies, I had been working as an iOS engineer for almost 8 years. But then I realized that I'm not into wealth accumulation, but rather interested in getting more advanced knowledge and diverse life experience. That's how I ended up in the Netherlands :) Also, I lived and worked in Poland for 1,5 years, so apparently I like to change my life rapidly each couple of years.
I'm a calm, friendly and open-minded person who enjoys a deep conversation. But also I'm a rather adventurous - I like extreme sports, new challenges and pushing myself out of the comfort zone.

Now I have a narrow set of interests - my studies, sport (I recently discovered survivalrun and very excited about it), meeting new people and learning about Duch society.
The most long lasting hobby I have is mountain trekking, I started it in adolescence and still continue to do it.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm a weirdo who listens to music very rarely and I know very little about it, which is shocking for many people. Though, sometimes I listen to Agnes Obel and Eivør Pálsdóttir. Almost the same about movies - I believe last time I watched a full movie more than a year ago! However, I do have some preferences here. The last movie I watched in the cinema was "The Favourite" by Yorgos Lanthimos and I find it absolutely brilliant. Some other 10/10 films and series from me: "Breaking bad", "Black Mirror”, “Big little lies", "The Fight Club", "Gone Girl", "Interstellar", "Shutter Island", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", some Tarantino films.
I used to love "The Witcher" book series when I was younger, but I stopped reading fiction a few years ago. Now I prefer nonfiction and have only one favourite author - Dawkins.
