Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in a small town Snezhinsk in the Ural Mountains. In summer 2014 after my graduation from high school, I moved to St. Petersburg to study at university. Majoring in Public Administration I'm also interested in Political Science and European studies. After the sophomore year, I was awarded the scholarship from American Councils for International Education for studying in the U.S. for one academic year and currently I attend SVSU - a school in Michigan.
Back in Russia, I've been playing intellectual games for six years. With my team, I visited a lot if cities to take part in competitions. The greatest accomplishment was the 2nd place in the all-European championship in intellectual games. This hobby shaped my personality. Now I am interested pretty much in everything. I believe, there is no useless knowledge. I'm happy to absorb new information. I love reading, watching movies, as well as spending time with my friends (no, I'm not a complete bookworm as it can seem to be, however, I will consider this nickname as a compliment).
Flexible, easy-going, a bit shy with strangers, well-rounded, sarcastic, like to laugh at myself, not afraid of making mistakes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To see the real way of life of locals, to talk to people I would never meet out of Couchsurfing. I want to share my culture, a first-hand view of Russia, to break stereotypes. I want to be a person with whom my country will be associated.
Want to feel myself like a main hero in an adventurous movie:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Studying for a year in the U.S.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to be influenced by other people. I always try to understand their philosophy, their views, and values and make a conclusion for myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of stories about Russia, my experience of being an international student. We can also cook some Russian food together. If you are interested, can teach you the Russian language and a bit of French. We can also try to find a purpose of life together or just chat about nothing. And I have a lot of postcards as souvenirs :)
