ABOUT ME

I want to meet new people, explore different cultures and will appreciate any help in improving my English, French and Chinese. Can help in improving your Russian:)

5 random facts about me:
1) My worst fear is to have a boring life.
2) When I was a kid I wanted to be a ballerina. Then I was in art school for 8 years. But in the end I got a specialist degree in bioinformatics. Who'd knew...
3) I used to play in a band. In 4 bands, actually. And even performed on stage. Guess what I played? Drums!
4) I worked for 8 years with gifted highschoolers, teaching them biology. Call them "my kids", even though some of them are only 1-2 years my junior.
5) I've never seen a bear in the wild and don't drink vodka.

My household have several rules, so if you're my guest:
1) We won't discuss religion, unless you're an atheist, or you've read the Bible, one of Dawkins's books and know what's Popper criteria is. Sorry.
2) Please, don't say "drugs shouldn't be tested on animals", "GMO is harmful", "homosexuality is unnatural" or "not eating meat will make you healthier" under my roof. Or I'll make you read one of my biology books. In Russian. I've warned you.
3) We won't discuss politics. No-no-no!
