HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Moscow region, Pushchino town (54° 50′ 0″ N, 37° 37′ 0″ E), Pushchino is a small scientific town of biology investigation. The town is located not far from Moscow, and usually it takes at about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to Moscow by bus. I can meet you in Moscow on Friday. You may take a sightseeing tour around Moscow and I can show you our green scientific town, where you can try ballroom dancing, ride a bike, go skiing in beautiful Russian forest and of course I may show you my lab and Prioksko-Terrasny Nature Biosphere Reserve. Well I’m ready to change the plan according to your wish. But I’m free only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I can provide you a guest room. The Russian tradition meal is guaranteed. So you are welcome!)))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was going to my parent’s home by night train one month ago (September, 2013). My companion was a young Dutchman. If I’m not mistaken his name was Harold. The man had been having a Russian touristic tour for several weeks yet. He was alone and didn’t know Russian language. We was talking a lot about Russia and Germany, had discussion about world politics. In earliest morning our train arrived at a train station in Kazan, and I decided myself to be guide for Harold and showed him the old third capital of Russia. I thought it was very interesting useful for the visitor to know more about Kazan. As for me it was a good opportunity for my English practice and a good way to know more about Germany. For example, I discovered one exclusive word which can characterize absolutely all Germans «obrigkeitshörigheit». After that I decided to help foreigners in our country to learn about Russia, our life and traditions. At the same time it would be a great possibility for me to meet new people and practice in English.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I had a problem with correct pronunciation one Russian letter «p» up to 18 years old. I was embarrassed and worried about it. I had been visiting a speech therapist for nearly 6 years. At one great day I managed it! For me it was a big victory. Once I’ve decided to go to one Russian city to meet a wonderful girl. It was a challenge for me to dare. I did it. And she’d changed my life.
