I love to travel. Sometimes I travel with friends, sometimes schedules don't work out, so I travel alone, I would rather do that, than sit at home learning nothing new.

That said, I love learning anything and if that's something that interests me I try to do this until I master it.

I also like games, but the ones that can be played by the group, rather than solo: that includes boardgames, couch multiplayer computer games (e. g. Mario Kart), escape room games, pub games (beer pong, darts etc.), you got the idea :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Felt pretty lonely on my solo trip, googled for solutions, found couchsurfing, let's se how this works out :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to various genres of music, but my favorites are somehow Brit rock bands: Radiohead, Muse, Arctic Monkeys and that's not even counting classics like Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Beatles.

Movies: I like sci-fi movies that explore unconvential questions. Not like Star Wars, which (although I do like Star Wars :), more like Contact, Never Let Me Go, Her, almost any Kubrick movie etc. I also love movies about traveling (obviously), like Lost in Translation, Midnight in Paris, Linklater's Before... trilogy. And I love good comedy, especially Edgar Wright movies.

Books: Well, describing movies was difficult enough, choosing favorite books is just impossible. Azimov, Jules Verne, Orwell, Douglas Adams, Umberto Eco are probably favorite authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not that amazing, but I try to hike to high places everywhere. Climb that tower, hill, mountain etc. I don't do actual rock climbing, but if I can walk to the summit, I try to do that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Short term: can teach you to play any board game and have fun doing that :)
Long term: can teach you to make beer (and good one), tinker with electronics to make some simple gadgets.
