About Me
Hello, everybody!
My name is Evgeny. I am economic journalist in one of the biggest Russian newspapers. Write about different economic issues, such as banks, stock market, private investments and so on. I like travelling. Due to my job I have been in many countries and also try to spend every vacation outside Russia.
I am very active person. Play basketball with my friends twice a week. And do a lot of running, hiking and rafting in summer period.
I live together with my girlfriend - Jenya. She is very nice and active person as well. Our apartment is quite small. But we have a really big couch for our guests. And really like to be hospitable hosts. Our relatives and friends from different regions stay with us very often.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel and meet people from other countries. I think it’s very good experience. Originally I am from Kazakhstan. And Kazakhs are very hospitable people. You can ask about that any person who visited my native country ))
On Couchsurfing I want to meet real friends from different countries, who shared same values.
Being a student I was a member of hospitality-club, and stayed in Sweden and USA. But after that we used to stay in hotels during our travels. I could manage it already. And it's more comfortable anyway.
But it become really boring. We can’t feel real life of another country staying in hotels. So I decided to return to couchsurfing. That is much cooler I think ))
