ABOUT ME

If you think you can really get to know me just through these lines, you are up to a disappointment. A person is more than a collection of photos and several hundreds lines of text.
Anyway, I am a social person and I like to meet new people from all over the world. I have an academic degree and I like to say that I teach people and help them to find their way in this world.
I have been to the army and I believe it helped me and other people to become more social and shape stronger characters. The army service in Israel in more of a necessity that a choice, but still you can meet there lots of fun and interesting people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think this site is a great idea, it is a great way to meet new people, learn new cultures and ways of thinking and also to learn to trust people, when you have to depend on someone you never met before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am looking forward to surf new couches and to host people on my couch. I met several people from the couch surfing community and they were pretty nice, helpful and informative.

Interests

I like to travel to different countries and get to know the mentality and thinking of the people there. I enjoy dancing Latin dances, such as salsa, mirenge and bachata.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies with some depth and meaning to them, but I can also enjoy a good comedy or thriller.
Dance/trance music is good for dancing in clubs and Latin music for salsa/bachata.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Falling in love with a country and people is pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Hebrew, which is a fun language. It has the nice property that words in Hebrew of ancient origin (not slang or modern ones) sound similar to their meaning. For example, "linkhor" that means "to snore" or "letzaltzel" that means "to ring" (a bell). Also "ratz" means "running" while "holekh" means "going". Note that the word length corresponds to the speed of the action.
I can also teach Cuban salsa and Bachata, but only if you do not have two left feet :) (this is a translation of an expression in Hebrew, try to figure it out).
