I am Evi and I have a problem: I am travel addicted! Well... actually I think it is not a problem ;)

I would call myself educated and open minded, I am a bubbly personality and while I enjoyed going out clubbing all night a lot in the past, now I'd rather have a good conversation over a glass of wine.

At the moment I travel a lot through Europe, sometimes I'd like to have a break from hostel life and meet someone local instead.

I tried hostels, but they are unpersonal, loud and expensive.

I tried Air B'n'B, but the sad truth is that a lot of hosts only make money with you and I didnt really enjoy my experiences with this platform so far.

Whenever I visit a new place, I like to ask locals what to do and what to see. I like to go off the beaten track and want to see everything through the eyes of someone who knows the area. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet those locals.
Besides that I like to exchange knowledge and opinions from people all around the world.

No way that I could tell you what my favourite books / movies are, but I can try

Amelie is the movie I probably watched most because I love it.
All in all I love french movies, classics like Charlie Chaplin or the Marx Brothers, the Lord of the Ring movies and Harry Potter - have to admit the books are better though
