ABOUT ME

I just finished high school and going to start university in October 2009 (International Relationships + Czech-german studies).
I´m working as volunteer in NGO Together Czech Republic since I was 15. This organization is focusing on projects for young people from the European Union such as international youth exchanges, seminars, and European voluntary service. I took part on more than 25 international projects/events in different European countries. I was co-ordinating a few projects, but my biggest success so far was to be the main leader of an international youth exchange in Prague in 2007 (main topic: dancing, 30 young people from 5 different European countries). In 2008, I was the main organizer of a charity project called "Glasses for Africa" - we collected over 1000 unused dioptrical glasses.
I was involved also in other projects. In summer 2007, I spent 3 weeks working in small german village on workcamp. This summer, I´m working in the USA with adults with learning disabilities through camp CCUSA.
I have experience with different part-time jobs - McDonald´s (well, yeah..doesn´t sound so cool..but I was 16, couldn´t get any other job and I wanted to make money for my own snowboard :), fair-trade eshop, hostess, online financial consulting etc.
In near future, I would like to pass exams and become tourist guide in Prague.
I also have many hobbies - check "interests"
As you can see, I am quite active person. I always have to do something. I already can´t imagine staying whole summer at home, I´m really addicted to travelling! That´s also the reason why I chose this university course..I love travelling, learning languages and meeting new people! :)

I am surfing at the moment. In near future, when I´ll be back home, I would be able just to show around the city, coffee etc. (still living with my parents and granddad)..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many things, but I would probably pick up the summer job in USA (2009). Working with people with special needs..really big challenge for me! Without almost no previous experience, as the youngest staff, with language barrier (trust me, it´s hard to understand these people, when English isn´t your first language) it was sometimes pretty tough, but...I made it! Probably biggest experince in my life.. I´m glad I didn´t give up and now I´m kinda proud of myself :)
