I enjoy sunrise over mountains, walking around quiet art galleries alone, the light on a crisp autumn day, sharing the warmth of a bonfire and the beauty of finding connection with a stranger.

At the moment I study prop making at University of the Arts London, where I specialise in model making for stop motion and film miniatures. I’m fascinated by all things stop motion and, naturally, am a huge fan of Tim Burton. If you can recommend me a stop motion movie I haven’t seen I’ll be over the moon. I also enjoy painting when I have time, and my number one priority when visiting a new city is seeking out a good spot in a gallery to sit and sketch for hours…

I've had many beautiful experiences on my travels so far and can't wait to get back and make something from them at some point, but for now I continue to seek inspiration in different cultures and environments around the world!

This September I am looking to spend a couple of weeks in or around Paris, if anyone can host me for a few days I’d love to hear from you :)

Music : Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Ana Roxanne, Grouper and Nils Frahm, but in general musics of ambient/electronic/metal/rock/folk/sad variety do it for me. Big fan of Nick Cave, Radiohead, Beach House, anything that can make me cry

Movies : I love 70s italian horror, 20s/30s german expressionism and of course anything stop motion or with lots of practical effects. I’m also a sucker for old hazy ethereal black and white movies. My favourite film of all time is Jean Cocteau’s La Belle et la Bette

Books : Women Who Run With Wolves and Just Kids were huge influences when I was younger.
Haruki Murakami is always a go to for fiction. Russian literature, old folktales and myths, and the beat generation all provide great inspiration
