ABOUT ME

I live in the Lake Distrcit UK and I go to Lancaster University studying International Politics. Easy going :) Been to Hong Kong, Canada, South Africa, Costa Rica, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Greece, Egypt, New Zealand, US, Belgium, Maldives, Ireland... plan on having a longer list!! I do music gigs locally. I love languages, good food, funny people, music, climbing, the rain, the sun and snow.

PHILOSOPHY

Always changing! I think if we can find a balance between thriving and not destroying the planet then that'd be great..... it's my long term goal to find this balance :) Another (unrelated) philosophy is: Breakfast like a king, lunch like a Prince and dine like a pauper :)

I love showing people round my local area and I equally enjoy visiting new places and being shown round a new city or landscape through a local's eyes. It's always great fun to meet someone new and learn about their adventures, their language, customs, part of the world and their experiences and skills! CouchSurfing is my favourite way to do this!

Films: Whiplash, Harry Potter, Billy Elliot, Shrek, Cast Away, Captain Corelli's Mandollin, Love Actually, Madagascar (King Julian is my favourite character of all time!) Documentaries on adventures, love Ellen McArthur's sailing trip round the world for example, or Days of My Youth!

Books: Love to read accounts of epic adventures people have had, treks, sailing trips, enjoy crime thrillers too!

Always love learning about new music/artists/instruments/books/films... can teach some piano, also kayaking, climbing, sailing, some local dialect!
