About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before and find a couch to crash on!

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty interesting person. Not to say you would be captivated by my fascinating conversations (because they are way more inane than anything). I'm interesting in more of a, "What the hell is wrong with that guy!?" kinda way. I guess you might say that I am quirky, maybe even eccentric but, you could probably say that about a lot of people here I'm sure.

Hmmm let's see, how can I put this?

It's like life is an iron, I get this iron as a gift but, it's missing the manual. Everyone else has the manual and irons their shirts. Me? I have no idea so, I use it as a George Foremanâ

PHILOSOPHY

Be true, learn, live, let live and share.

If I could be anything, I would be the sun; warm-yellow light at the center of everyone's universe. a bit egotistical I know but, I score points for honesty, right?

No? Ok, watch me dance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm working towards becoming a certified, master couch tester and will be hosting an ultra-fab couch of my own once I find a place I am not willing to leave for awhile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Is it by coincidence that every awesome person in the entire world has a CS account or, is it by design?

Interests

Music; listening to, discovering new, attending live, writing, producing, performing, sharing.

Travel (obviously), freeganism, dancing, night-life, wine, outdoors (hiking, camping, hitch-hiking & rock-climbing), art, fashion, coffee, organic agriculture (especially hydroponics), vegan cooking, information (via internet, books and discussion) meeting new people and trying new things.

Some movies I enjoy are:
(in no particular order)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Prescilla, Queen of the Desert(transvestites make good material for movies!)
A Clockwork Orange (yes the movie not the book)
any Monty Python (gotta love it)
South Park the Movie (Hey I love musicals)
ohhh The Fifth Element (Hellsya!)
Amélie (Just copy, paste that one)
the Evil Deads (Bruce Campbell is my baby-daddy)
Dark City (Something to think about)
Secret of Nimh
most anything Don Bluth
Labyrinth
The Dark Crystal
Legend (Tim Curry is just about the greatest thing)
Mirrormask
Tank Girl
Run Lola, Run
Pan's Labyrinth
Princess Bride
SuperBad
Shawn of the Dead
I like a lot of anime and anything musical or with an awesome soundtrack.

as for books my taste is pretty standard; Vonnegut, Palahniuk, Quinn, Mailer, Nietzsche, Kaufka, Moore, Hiaasen I'll read pretty much anything given enough time

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

David Bowie!!!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I have a pretty unique outlook on life you may find amusing. I try to be the best person I can and better the world around me (or at least do no harm). I have plenty of music to share and I'm sure I can show you a thing or two about how fix most things including computers.

I'm open to new ideas and I'll try pretty much anything at least once.
