To see the world, all of it. None of those tourist spots, I mean the real world. Sitting on the porch talking about life with people of every walk of life.

ABOUT ME

I love adventure and co-discovery, I love eating and enjoying different foods. I love hearing people's stories and getting to know them. I have a particular concern for economic and environmental justice, but don't peg me just as a token liberal. I want meaningful dialogue with liberals and conservatives, Rastafarians and Mormons. Even if you think I don't sound like the type of person you would naturally connect with, stay at my place so that we can still enjoy a good meal together and find out about each other's stories. Especially if you do seem different from me, all the more reason to enjoy some time together and walk a mile in the other person's shoes.

PHILOSOPHY

If you think you get it, you really think you understand something, then it is time for you to dive deeper, because you have obviously just scratched the surface. Life is not about understanding, but the pursuit of understanding and the sharing of blessings with one another.

Interests

I am interested in people and their walks, where a person has come from and how he or she has come to be the man or woman that I have the honor of meeting today. I would love to hear about your faith (or non-faith), your politics (or non-politics) and anything else that matters to you. I am more concerned about how you came to those beliefs and your journey than I am concerned with simply figuring out where you happen to be today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to the top of this mountain and when we got to the top we found ourselves completely surrounded by a set of thunder clouds surrounding the mountain. We sat down on the ground and watched the clouds envelope the mountain beneath us. We were perfectly dry and could see for miles because we were still above the clouds and got to see the storm beneath our feet. A bolt of lightening then struck down way below on the trial we had been walking on earlier that day. I felt so big and yet so small all at the same time.

I want to learn everything there is to know on this earth. From gardening to paper weights, construction to nuclear physics, that little bit that you know, no matter the amount or the topic, I want to know it too.
