Hi, I'm Evita, also known as Evi, Elvi or Elvira. I've grown up in the south of Germany and love the mountains and forest 🌳 But I’ve also got to know and love some other places on the world through studying in different cities (Frankfurt and Berlin) and spending some time abroad (mainly in Peru). Now I live in Hamburg and would like to host people again as life circumstances and space allows it and I would be happy to get back to the Couchsurfing culture of hosting and getting to know people from all over the world ✨

I live with my boyfriend in a pretty chilled area of Hamburg (Winterhude) and we love to do active stuff like cycling, dancing salsa, bouldering, spending time outside on the beautiful canals of Hamburg with our Stand-Up Paddles.
I’m quite a “social animal” and meet up with friends regularly, so when you come visit you might end up in a meet-up with them which is always fun 🤘🏻

If I want a more relaxed time, I read a book, watch a series, make some music or do some yoga and other kinds of sports 🧘‍♀️

Also I would be happy to again explore some places through Couchsurfing as I have done it quite extensively some years ago but lost the habit during covid. It’s just another feeling of getting to know other places through people and their culture! I would say I’m quite easy going, open-minded and just want to have a relaxed time with the people visiting our place and the ones whose couch we/I might crash! 💥

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got into Couchsurfing when i was travelling around New Zealand and i think its the best way to get to know a place! I like to meet new people, to learn about their culture and their way of life !
The world will be a better place if everybody helps each other a little bit !🤗

Movies: Into the wild, Poor Things, Documentaries (basically any good movie which is not a horror-movie or thriller 😄)

Music: Flume, the doors, Beatles, Queen wolfmother, jack white, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, some german bands - I always said that Latin music and regeatton are my guilty pleasure but the pleasure is not so guilty anymore because I actually love to listen and dance to it very openly 💃🏼🪩

Books: i love books of Haruki Murakami, paulo coelho, martin suter and am always open for good book recommendations :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in New Zealand, singing karaoke with my best friend in front of 2000 people, running naked through the salt desert in uyuni, running a marathon twice, finishing the Spartan Race in Munich, going up a 5600 meter high volcano, Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro

I can share my travel experiences and show you around the City, i also would be greatful to learn something about your culture ! I also love to cook (German and Peruvian dishes), to dance and to have long talks, so i think it won’t be boring!

I really want to improve my French and Portuguese! I have English, Spanish and German in return for you ;)
