About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out how to be a teacher.

ABOUT ME

I can't say no to coffee, beer, chocolate and PARTY!! Music is one of the most important things in my life! I love to share and enjoy it with other people, to go to festivals and have a great time! In general I'm very open to interesting people! I love to get in contact with different points of view and to learn the most useless words in other languages. After 2 years of studies in France and Quebec, I recently finished my studies in French and History in Germany. I'm now a teacher. Sort of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so far, I just hosted friends or friends of friends at my place. I can only offer a small and uncomfy couch in the kitchen. In general, it's me who is on the road looking for a place to sleep. But CS should not be a cheap hostel, I wanna get to know new people, laugh together and share experiences! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a week in Madrid, absolutely great experience, then a few days in Quebec in the appartment where I moved in afterwards and finally I made a couchsurfing trip in all over Scandinavia :)

Interests

my most important interests are music, dancing, theater (watching, I never acted), books, films and cinema (not Cine Star but those charming little provincial cinemas). It doesn't really matter what I do as long as I'm in good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

music is very important. I like rock, metal, drum'n'bass, dubstep, irish folk, electronic music, alternative stuff, sometimes ska and punk. E.g. Blind Guardian, Iron maiden, Pendulum, John Frusciante, Dresden Dolls, Dropkick Murphy's, Ska P, ....
It's a long time ago that I read a non-french book (Sartre is my favorite). I really liked Donna Cross's "Pope Joan", the "Lord of the Rings" (and the fantastic films even if films are never as good as books!) and Terry Pratchett's "Discworld".
I like most of the films with Johnny Depp (Secret window, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Chocolat, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd), he's a fantastic actor! I also like The Ring and some french films like The fabulous destiny of Amélie Poulain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

jumping into a line of cabbage on a Metal festival, jumping naked into a sea in Finland, jumping almost naked in the snow in Canada (-20°C) .... to be continued :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France, Germany
