About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work, school, saving up for more travel!

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving, 25 year old American, born and raised in the Hoosier State (Indiana). I work in higher education. I love all things outdoors, camping, hiking, boating; cooking, reading and writing, and just spending time with friends. I love good beer, good food, and good chocolate, and I love to meet new people!

PHILOSOPHY

My goal in life is to meet as many people, see as many places, try as many foods, and have as many experiences as I possibly can before I am too old and too busy to make it a priority. I feel like each new experience broadens my horizons just a little bit more, and I love to just share the joy of life with those around me. It sounds cheesy, but it's true!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed my way through much of Northern Europe while I was living in France, and met my wonderful French roommates at a CS gathering in Valenciennes. Together we hosted many CS-ers of many different nationalities at our home. Now that I am back in the US, I am happy to be able to host here, although not as often as I'd like because of my work schedule.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed, hosted, traveled, and partied with many CS-ers from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've wanted to go to Paris ever since I was very young. The first time I actually got to visit (when I was living in France), I took the TGV into Gare du Nord, and then got straight on the metro to get to my lodging. So the first actual glimpse I got of the city was coming out of the metro right in front of Notre Dame. The sight took my breath away.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about English, so I could definitely teach or help someone with reading, writing, or speaking it, I know a lot about camping and hiking and how to build a fire, cook outdoors, paddle a canoe or kayak, etc., and I'm a good cook. I'd love to share any and all of these skills!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Honduras, Italy, Netherlands

Countries I’ve Lived In
