Hi there! I'm Evvy! I am 29 years old, originally from Los Angeles and now residing in Portland, Oregon.

I am happiest when I am in nature, and for that reason I am an environmental activist. I am dedicated to living sustainably and protecting this beautiful planet. My background is in Waste Diversion and Resource management, or in other words, I have a passion for trash. Since 2015 I have worked at events and festivals all over California, doing waste management and eco education.

My hobbies include hiking, backpacking, and circus arts. I am a nomadic hoop dancer and fire dancer,and I would love to share these skills with you!

My other passions include anthropology, philosophy, social justice art history, and psychology.

My goals as a traveler are to fully immerse myself in local culture and customs, learn the language, while learning, growing, connecting, and finding ways to give back to local communities.

This summer I will be traveling to Croatia and then Israel! It will be my first time in this Croatia, my third time in Israel, and my first time traveling in over a year and a half. I cant wait to meet new people and see all these beautiful countries have to offer! Will be looking for hosts as well.
