About Me

I don't have much time and money to travel, so instead, I help people who travel to my country. By that way, I can meet new friends, know about them and the culture they represent, hear their stories and jokes. I call it "travel at home"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In my lone ride, I've been helped by so many strangers, those I hardly see again in my life. Therefore, I'd love to pay forward by giving other travellers a hand on their journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Hosted: 2 times
- Be hosted: 1 time
- Met up with CS friends: Many times

Interests

- I spend most of my spare time enjoying reading. I read every kind of book, as long as it can interest me at a few first pages.
- I also love traveling, especially traveling abroad alone.
- Fine dining is another hobby of mine. I can proudly say that after several years seeking around HCMC to find restaurants which serve fine dishes with a fair price, I now have a list of good restaurant names in my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's one time I rode a long distance to a mousoleum in Hue outskirt of town. The ticket price was ridiculous high, and there was no discount for students and groups, so I climbed up the hill then dodged between the columns and jumped into the mousoleum. Nearly tore my dress into pieces by that time, but the experience and view were spectacular.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning and practicing to be a life coach at the moment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just so you know, my house is 40m by bus away from Ben Thanh Market (District 1 - City center) + 15m walk from the nearest bus station. From airport, yellow bus 119, or from Ben Thanh market, bus number 1, 2 or 14 will take you to my house's nearest bus station.

I live with my parents and my elder brother's family. We usually have a guest room for two. If that room is occupied, I will share my bedroom with you (if you are a lady) or you can use my room, I will share room with my parents. Please expect some noise or crying at the middle of the night from my nephew as your room is next to his. Because we have elderly people and young kid in the family, we would love to ask our guests to be home before 10:30.

We live very close to the West Coach Station and Aeon Mall Binh Tan. It is very convenient if you spend a night at my place and leave for Mekong delta by taking a bus at West Coach Station.
