I am Polish and I do not live in Lviv. I have never visited Ukraine before. I live in France and come from Bialystok, Poland. If you plan to see Lviv, I am not a person to contact!

I love travelling!
A few key facts about me:
I usually travel for a week or two with a small backpack.
I plan my itineraries, however I always leave some room for spontaneity.
I avoid eating in restaurants when I travel alone and take pleasure in going off budget :)
I am not a big hitchhiking fan. Probably would not do that alone.
I prefer to stay with female couchsurfers as I had bad experiences in the past (Couchsurfing is not a dating site!)
I make my efforts to travel with a paper map, instead of following the dot on a google map.
I travel with two phones. The old school bright yellow Nokia, which is used frequently for calling and checking the time (great for battery longevity! however, useless for Internet). And a smartphone used only in emergency situations to book tickets online (preferably from free wifi access points)
I like to stay in hostels and with couchsurfers because I understand that the people we meet on our way create the most important memories, regardless of the place we are in.

Why do I complicate my life so much, neglecting the help of modern technology?
I like to travel as it was in the 90s, without all that gadgets of today.

I like hosting and visiting people. You know Polish hospitability ! During my volunteering project in 2017, we used to welcome lots of international travellers in our house. So far, nobody complained! ;)

I don't have many references, because I never really cared for them as I am not the technology fan.
But as it is me who travels more now, I promise you will see them on my profile soon!
