Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since moving to a new place I want to offer staying there as it would be nice to feel like I have flat mates from time to time :D

Plus, I can offer showing you around the city, take you to local restaurants or even cook you some of my favourite polish dishes!

Now the best part: I’m a great companion when it comes to drinking and going out! Seriously, try me!

I am not a frequent traveller but definitely a passionate one. Not good at planning, spontaneous trips are more common! My dream destination would definitely be the Rocky Mountain, will need a few years of saving tho. Couchsurfing would be a good start for that! Not to mention the amazing opportunity of meeting new people and exchanging stories of experiences. I believe that one can learn the most about a certain place from locals and inhabitants!

Interests

As to what my hobbies and interest are: hiking is definitely my favourite one on earth! I have been to some awesome places in the Alpes and looking forward to expand my spots! Plus, the flora and fauna stupidly amaze me. Besides that I'm interested in urban exploring. Old abandoned places get to me like nothing else, the mystery and magic of it is mesmerizing! Furthermore I'm a little bit into arts as for example calligraphy, which I started to learn some years ago. In my spare time I like to draw too, mostly portraits. Music has a huge meaning in my life and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to live without it. Nothing soothes me like some good ol' Rock N' Roll!

Music, Movies, and Books

As to Music I mostly listen to 70's and 80's Rock. I wouldn't be able to name specific favourite bands but here's a try: AC/DC, Danzig, Supertramp, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Free, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Dio and many more! A good hard rock guitar riff is all it really needs for me to enjoy the music! Beloved books are by German authors Friedrich Dürrenmatt "Die Physiker" and Daniel Glattauer's "Gut gegen Nordwind". "Shawshank Redemption", "Catch me if you can", "The Truman Show" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" are just some of many, many awesome movies! Not much into TV-Series but "The Preacher" is a must-see!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would consider myself a very open minded and thoughtful person. That doesn't stop me though from being down for anything that's fun, as long as it's safe (not really) and legal (not always). Need to talk about serious topics? I'm in! Want to goof around? I'm also in!
