COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the idea of couchsurfing, hosting, meeting people, talking, exchanging experiences, making friends, disinterestedness and hospitality. I was hosting people (friends of my friends etc) before I knew about this site. I have to say that seeing a new city in a company of a local person has much more taste and meaning than walking around on your own or with your friend(s). I am only a bit concerned about some weird offers I received via this site but I'll just ignore them and pretend I didn't see them.

Ok. Cooking, eating local stuff, music, finding balance in life, reading (I am an avid reader!), foreign languages, handicrafts, spiritual development, embroidery, I collect phrasebooks, do the cross-stitch embroidery, know wild plants and herbs (if it is spring, we can make my favourite nettle pie!), eat weeds, love hiking, walking and travelling, actually I am a typical Saggitarius :) I love the world!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love a Polish writer Wiesław Myśliwski, he is my favourite, I read a lot, recently Tokarczuk, Bukowski, Fowles, Canetti, Kapuściński, Tokarczuk, Pamuk... but the best book I ever read will always be MOBY DICK! I am a huge fan of Tindersticks, independent and world and classical music, jazz, world cinema, movies of jarmush, Kieślowski and Bergman. I work for Warsaw Film Festival as a translator and could spend my whole life in the cinema. Other favourite bands: DeVotchKa, Anna Calvi, the National, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Eels, the Doors, Madredeus, Luar na Lubre, Lao Che, Arab Strap, Bisquit, Myslovitz, Nixes.

If you host me I can make great pierogi (Polish dumplings) for you :) I speak differrent languages so we could chat in any of them.
