Über mich
I'm 24 years old. I grew up in Germany but my parents are French and Danish, so from a young age I was immersed in multiple cultures. For this reason, I do not identify with any specific nationality, but I like to think of myself as a European, as I am interested in and have been educated by Western philosophy and spirituality.
My values are tolerance, open-mindedness, solidarity and perseverance. I like meeting people, discovering new places and cultures and sharing a moment of conviviality, whether through our similarities or our dissimilarities.
I am a recent graduate in political science, a subject I love talking about. I enjoy reading about the subject, from political theory to media news. When I travel, I like to be informed about the history and political situation of the country or region I am visiting. I think it allows me to better understand the places I see, the people I meet and their history.
I have a ton of hobbies, which I'll just put in list form because this description might get too boring. I like to play chess, cards, football, ping-pong, badminton, tennis, climbing and pétanque. I like reading, going to the museum, the cinema or the theater. I also enjoy going on bike rides and camping, which is my way of reconnecting with nature. I also like to go out, have fun and dance... I can't miss the classics.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I'm essentially on Couchsurfing because so many people recommended it to me! Wether as a host or as a guest, I heard so many stories of people having amazing experiences, that I told myself I simply can't miss out anymore! I'm very sociable, so I'd like to meet new people and have great conversations.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I listen, read and watch all kinds of stuff. In my headphones I listen to rap, French variété, disco and house. On the dancefloor I like to get wild on techno and reggaeton. My favorite fiction books are the Unberable Lightness of Being by Kundera and Siddharta by Hesse. Non-fiction would be Anti-Oedipus by Deleuze and Guattari or How Will Capitalism End ? by Streeck.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I've biked through the alps! From Munich to Venice.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I wouldn't call myself a cook but I know a few good-looking recipes. Also open to learn or share any hobbies you might be curious about!
