I'm a pretty laid back , interested and intrigued, looking for a new adventure, news experiences and encounters. I love learning about different people and cultures and countries. I have a dry sense elf humour I'm just as happy making silly jokes all night than having intellectual discussions on, culture, philosophy on the FOLLY OF MANKIND....

I take life very seriously sometimes and sometimes not very seriously at all. I have recently decided to take a walk of the wild side and give up drinking alcohol, which is working out great. That doesn't stop me enjoying nights out, parties etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing seems to me a great way to travel, to discover new places, meet real people who can give you local knowledge and give you an authentic taster of the place and show you what its REALLY all about!

Interests

I want to experience everything...Well, maybe not everything, nice things mostly...but sometimes the mad, bad, crazy, random, chaotic things in life can be the most life affirming and character building (and exciting), you gotta take the rough with smooth as they say.

I'm fascinated by films, particularly independent/art-house film, the more excessively strange the better... Also big fan of music art, music, photography, anything that moves me, intrigues me, fascinates me. I like to watch films, go to music gigs, read or hang out with friends.

I also dabble in playing guitar, writing, photography and drawing, and generally get a kick out of all kinds of artistic expression, whether Im doing it or seeing other people do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love nearly kinds of music, my favourite kind is the stuff I haven't heard yet. Jazz, world music, tango, krautrock, punk, new-wave, post rock, free folk, 'experimental', drone, metal, tango. The kind of music I like is kind that no label could ever do justice, it's a bit of this and a bit of that, makes your toes tap, your heart pound and your brain dance and it might not have been invented yet.

Writers: Jean Paul Satre, Dostoyevsky, Herman Hesse, Balzac, Albert Camus, Carl Jung, Alan Watts, JG Ballard, Geoff Dyer, Bruce Chatwin, Nail Griffiths, Irvine Welsh, John Fante, Henry Miller... One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving round south Australian in a little Suzuki four wheel drive, with Creedence Clearwater Revival blasting through a cheep stereo, visiting mountains, gorges and deserts sleeping rough next to the car on a ground sheet with a duvet and a pillow staring at the amazingly bright and detailed night sky and waking up with to the big orange sun rising over the outback.

I can share my favourite films and music, as well and many other random things which I love to share and discuss, I take great great pleasure in forcing people to watch/listen to latest thing I've discovered! I love share stories, experiences and learning about people, I can cook a mean stir fry.

I can speak English, so I'm more than happy for you to practice your English on me to your hearts content. Been learning French as well, ca viens doucement mais surement. I am also a proficient washer of plates.
