I am a 25 year old guy originally from a scenic place called the Blue Mountains, one hour west of Sydney, Australia. After completing high school I moved to Sydney to become 'independent' and complete my studies. After completing my bachelors degree I moved to Melbourne to meet new people and experience living in a different city of my own country. I spent all of 2015 traveling Europe and India (again) as a reward for completing my degree and as a holiday before I commenced my masters degree!
After spending 2016 in Sydney, I decided to jet off again. With my best friend Hamish as company, we have commenced a 4 month road trip through America, starting in LA, hoping to eventually end in New York. After a month on the road, we have realised the importance of meeting locals in an area, and figured what better way to do that then using couch surfing.

I'm now living in Sydney with my mate Hamish and working full time as a school teacher. Thought it was a good time to give back to the couch surfing community.

It's too easy turning up to a city, ending up on the tourist strip, getting stung by various 'tourist traps'. I feel there is no better way to get a feel for a city than hanging out with a local - someone passionate about where they are from. I am very excited when I think of all the people I will meet and adventures we will share!

Beers, spicy food, jumping off big rocks into water, walking, running, swimming at the beach, meeting like minded people, having a laugh, going to countries different from my own, eating weird foods, cycling, bush walking and spending time outdoors!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last year I traveled through India and while there my friend Pankti hosted me over the International Kite Flying Festival in Gujarat in which the whole state flies kites on their rooftops during the day. All Pankti's extended family was there flying kites with us, eating amazing Northern Indian food and sharing stories.
