About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working as a Foreign Language Assistant in France for a year to improve my french and to see as much of Europe as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventuress person looking for amazing experiences around the world, so another one of those annoying Aussies that you meet in every hostel. I have recently begun this great endeavor and I am currently working in Canada.
I have a great passion for food, especially coffee. I have worked as a Barista for several years, It has made me a little pretentious about the industry.
I spent 2 years traveling and working in Canada, hitchhiking across the country, dropping down into the states a few times.
I am in the middle of an Engineering degree at the University of Tasmania.
At the moment, I am taking a break from my studies and working in France as a Foreign Language Assistant.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy while you can.
I try to be very open minded and forgiving, don't get hung up on things that in the end don't matter, live life to enjoy life, In the long and short term.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in Montreal for a while and a few of my housemates were couch surfers. We hosted a few people while I was there. I then hitchhiked to the western part of Canada, staying at a few places on the way and traveled with fellow couch surfers.

Interests

I love trying the cuisine of different cities, especially coffee, when I travel to a new city its one of the first things I do.
I am fascinated by architecture, both new and old.
When I go to a new country I always look into its History, I find it fascinating studying how the nation came to what it is today.
After working a winter in the Rockies, I have started snowboarding as often as i can. Sadly, living in Tasmania doesn't give me many opportunities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Uluru during a trip through the center of Australia.
Sailed a tall ship along the Great Barrier Reef.
Hiking/White Water Rafting/Snowboarding in the Canadian Rockies.
