About Me

Currently looking to walk my highest path on this earth connecting with the most amazing people unexpectedly. I was born and raised in West London and made a conscious choice to leave full-time education at fifteen. When I left school I worked and obsessively self-educated. My extreme addiction to exploration, learning, and growth came from that time in my life where I had no one but lectures online and books in libraries to keep me sain. This snowballed into a now eighteen-year-old young man to strive for the finer things in life just as a cat would sniff at the floor for miles until it found some food.

I'm currently living a very yin-yang lifestyle co-running a marketing company while traveling. Although this comes with a few challenges I absolutely love the aspect of being able to create and grow with amazing people all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always known of Couchsurfing but now I am actually traveling I'm eager to meet some amazing people to share our life-long stories all over the world. I hope to create eternal connections to soon host the same type of people in my home that will soon be in either India or Bali.

Meeting new people to me is just like watering our own plants. We're the water that's always flowing around the jug but interaction is needed to grow. I hope this resonates with you as a reader and I'd love to connect. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, now we're starting... hahaha

Music:
Literally everything under the sun, but stuff that has spoken to me over the past few years is...
Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Four Seasons, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Otis Redding, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, B.B King, John Mayer, Frank Sinatra, Al Green, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Hall and Oates, Ray Charles, John Lennon, Nina Simone, Seal, Every reggae song ever made especially stuff by the Toots and The Maytals, Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, Most new stuff as well.

Movies:
I've written down every movie i've watched since I was twelve but some of my favorites are...

Into The Wild ---- Instant tears at the end when Christopher *SPOILER* and there's a vision of his dad crying in the street.
Good Will Hunting --- Instant Tears at the part when they're sitting in the park talking about life.
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction
The Matrix
K-pax

Books:
The book that has influenced me the most in life was "The Monk that sold his Ferrari" by Robin Sharma it totally changed my beliefs and vision for life, I don't even think I'd be on couchsurfer right now without it!
Another one I read on the plane to the U.S was "Reasons to stay alive" by Matt Haig which was another tone hitting impactful book especially if you've experienced or are experiencing hardship and depression. Matt Talks about his personal experiences having depression while traveling as a writer.

Notable books that impacted me in a certain way:
How To Win friends and influence people
Games People Play By Eric Berne
The power of habit by Charles Duhigg
Body Language By Julius Fast

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the one most amazing thing I've done so far (bar suicide prevention) is starting a fully running company with someone I met online who is now my girlfriend!

On one of my first travels to Slovenia, I came back feeling so discontent with life that I decided to start an online networking group for people in the Travel niche on Instagram. One of the people I reached out to I absolutely fell in love with a face timed every day for four months straight haha. About three months into our connection when the travel group was going strong we decided to create our own online digital marketing company. We landed a pitch with a high ticket client in New York and we thought ta'hell with it, why don't I just come to New York!? That's where I first laid my eyes physically on the most amazing person ever. I'm currently writing this from our little-leased apartment in Hoboken, New Jersey but we're heading for Arizona, Spain, France, London, Bali and then India next (all before Christmas 2018!

The most amazing thing was just making that drastic change in my life. I dropped out of high school at fifteen, moved away from London a few years later I started a now fully automated and online social group for travelers all over the world to connect and now I'm heading for even more amazing things!

Teach, Learn, Share

You don't make mistakes in life, you only learn lessons. There is no such thing as a negative experience only a lesson. From struggle comes strength. Even pain can be a wonderful teacher. How can you really know the joy of being on the top of the mountain unless you have first visited the lowest point? Stop judging events as either positive or negative. Rather, simply experience them, celebrate them and learn from them. Every event offers you lessons. These little lessons fund your inner and outer knowledge of understanding happiness. Without them, you would be stuck. Just think about it in your own way. Most people have grown the most from there most challenging experiences unless they've quit, and if you're left with an outcome you did not expect and feel a little disappointed, remember that when one door closes another opens, and that could be the most treasured moment of your life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share our stories most importantly (I promise I won't just talk about myself haha) ... By profession, I can give digital marketing consulting but also life advice! If there's something we're both lacking we can share that help and assistance. Wherever the host maybe I don't know the area so it will be great to spend quality time together and discuss experiences and discussions.

On more of a basic level, I also make amazing home food, I worked in a restaurant for three years after I left school and learned how to make a lovely bar and restaurant food such as steaks, dough balls, fajitas, tikka masala curry, all kinds of burgers and homemade fries... you know all the good stuff? ;)
