Overview
About Me
I'm an Oxford University graduate who now works designing sustainable buildings to try and do my part for the planet! I've visited over 30 countries but only seen a small part of my own so I'm on a quest to rectify that. I'm musical and try my hand at playing any instrument I can find. I have been trying to develop my photography game and spent the 8 months after finishing my degree travelling around the world. I'm also a vegan but don't let that put you off as I'm very good at sorting my own food out by now!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love Couchsurfing's power to open the door of the world to people and enable an extra level of immersion in the local culture by living with its people. I've also been able to see some extraordinary kindness over the years that always makes me think hard about they way I live at home.
Interests
Properly trained in clarinet, piano and a bit of bassoon, self-taught on accordion, guitar, mandolin, dhol (Indian drum) etc. I like trying to develop my skills at music recording. Instagram @travelwithhaste

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from Oxford to Copenhagen was pretty cool and the gap year I skipped my graduation for probably topped that!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can explain some boring engineering principles to you if you want, attempt some music practice and always up for cooking together!
