I am a sociable, energetic and rather cheerful person, who loves to explore world in every possible way :) I enjoy visiting new places, meeting new people and taking new smaller and bigger challenges :)

I believe that every new experience and every new person met during our "tour through life" enriches it somehow :)

When I feel good in someone's company I'm very talkative and easy-going :) I like to laugh a lot. If I feel that we have a similar sense of humour, I'll most probably be a bit sarcastic, but never with aim to offend you! I don't take myself too seriously and a "hit back" is always welcome (hmm.. I will even like it ;)).
!!BUT!!: If I feel that you are not comfortable with such kind of jokes, I will definitely hold back :)

I am quite good at small talk, but I really enjoy meaningful and more in-depth conversations. Sharing worldviews and personal opinions and life stories let us learn something about each other and make true friends, not only mates who go out for a beer together from time to time :)

My main motto about life is to let everybody live their own lives as they wish, until they don't harm anyone else. That is why I don't like different kinds of phobias (xenophobia, homophobia etc.) and racism. I believe these are not common attitudes among Couchsurfers, but if it is by accident, be will not get on well with each other :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am quite new here, even though the date on the left says that I am a member since 2013. I don't have much experiens with CS (yet!!).

But I don't feel good traveling from hotel to hotel... best memories from traveling are these connected with people me and my friends met in different places that we visited, new tastes and smells, not necessarily mentioned in popular guidebooks... I am happy, when for that short time I can feel as I was a part of the city/country/village etc.

And I believe that Couchsurfing is a "place" when I can meet such people, meet you :) Spend some time together and teach each other about our small worlds. Make travels richer and more authentic :)

Interests

First of all: collecting memories :)

I like reading, spending time with friends and family, especially in an active way (cycling, playing volleyball, canoeing in the summer etc.), TRAVELING :)

What else... Cooking (but it does not mean that I'm particularly good at it, so please do not expect miracles in my kitchen :)), taking care of my little garden at my balcony.

I would like to learn to play bridge and to dance one of the latino dances ;)

I collect bells and magnets from my travel destinations :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... I don't have favourite music types, groups and so on. I am opened to almost every kind of music that wake up my emotions :) It may be jazz or guitar concert in the evening, that makes me feel calm and relaxed, electronic music during jogging, that helps me to keep constant pace or more heavy sounds like Rammstein when I need to concentrate (I know it sounds a bit weird.. ;)).
I would be delighted to learn every new music from all of you, especially typical music for your country, which I most probably will not hear in my national radio :)

When it comes to movies, it's similar :) Most of all I like meaningful movies that teach me something. These might be new facts, new points of view, but also fictional stories that "enrich" my emotional life.
I don't mind to watch a good comedy or an action film from time to time, though ;) And a comedy may be a romantic one off course ;)

Among my favourites are:
"12 Angry Men", "Captain Phillips", "Gran Torino", "In the Name of the Father", "The Shawshank Redemption", "Forrest Gump", "Into the Wild", "Intouchables", "Incendies", "Interstellar", "Shooting Dogs", "Inglourious Basterds" (I loved Pitt's Italian there.. ;P), "Jeremiah Johnson", "Heat", etc. etc.

Last - but definitely not the least!!! - are books. I love reading :) I try to read every day, especially before sleep and I like to mix classic literature with more popular books, depending on my mood :)
I recently decided to read a book of a Nobel Prize laureates every few months, and it goes well till now :)
I highly value sophisticated language of the book. It's a pleasure to learn new words or to see the words you use everyday in completely surprising meanings :)
