I'd rather live somewhere than just visit the place. I love learning all these small details you can't find even in the best guidebooks. How to validate a ticket in an old tram, when I should eat dinner not to raise any eyebrows, what herbs I can pick to make the best tea.

Since October I’ve been doing my ESC in an off-the-grid eco-community near Tabernas Desert. I work in between two circles, making bread, cosmetics, preserves and natural paints but also taking care of our water and energy systems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't think that staying in the hotels surrounded by other tourists is the best way to fully experience living in another country.
