Overview
About Me
I was born in New Zealand and moved to England at age 5, now I am 22 years of age and looking to do my most extensive travel yet. I seemed to be a bright in in my youth when it came to the education system, however from 16yrs old my views started to change and I decided that the university route wasnt one I wished to proceed. I realised I was to outgoing for more endless hours locked inside a stuffy room. I worked fulltime and rented my own place when I was 18, a year latdr I ventured off around Thailand and Vietnam. I fell inlove with travelling, now I look to combine a sustainable building acadamy course with travelling around the americas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The tourist trail has generally disappointed me, I now want to learn the real trail. I come from a very open family and constantly had so called strangers knocking on the door when I was growing up claiming some relation, and I have now missed that positive attitude in my latest years. My dad considers it a skill that needs to be practised, in which i will.
Interests
Sports and outdoors in general - I am very interested in functional body movement and physical sports such as rugby and combatives. But as long as its healthy competition, im in.
My venture in 2015 is to jump into sustainable building (earthships). I am becoming more and more interested in sustainability and how we are treating are planet. Most recently have found a great interest in politics ( more so the failure in uk) and economics.
