Overview
About Me
I'm a pretty open-minded person. And that's one of the main reasons why I'm on CS.
I enjoy meeting new people and having some nice conversations over some coffee/beer/wine/whatever you'd like to drink. I'm interested in learning about people as well as telling them about myself; we all come from a different place and I think we can all learn from each other.
I love to discuss interesting things, like art, science, history, philosophy, physics or the meaning of life -- I'm not very good at all these subjects but I'd like to learn more.
My main philosophy in life is to live and let live. I've met people from all kinds of backgrounds and always seemed to find some common ground as well as some differences. I think we can learn a lot about ourselves by connecting with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Recently I went back to College and had an amazing time meeting the Erasmus students in my country. I had a really amazing time with some amazing people and I'm hoping I can find the same kind of people in here.
I've been wanting to travel for some years now but I wasn't able to do it yet. Hopefully soon that will change.
I'd like to visit new cities through the eyes of local people, instead of going to the same places all tourists go. I like the idea of immersing myself in a new place and find out what life is about there.
Interests
Photography, Music (but I still need to learn how to play an instrument), Sports (specially Tennis and Futsal), Traveling, Good Food, Board Games, Wine and Beer, learning new languages.
Meeting people, sharing stories, learning about them and telling them about me.
Did I mention photography? :D
Recently I developed an interest in Historical Photographic Processes. It's a really nice subject if you're into photography -- an oasis of weird chemicals and silver crystals in this digital desert we live in nowadays.
Board games are a really nice way of spending some time with friends. There are some pertty good games out there, I would recommend this to everyone.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'd say my all time favorite band is Queen. They were absolutely amazing in my opinion. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are also some of my favorites that sadly no longer exist.
Arcade Fire is probably my favorite band in existence. I also like Blood Red Shoes.
Whenever I listen to Foo Fighters or Radiohead, I feel good too.
There are more, but they'd be too many to list here.
I've seen a lot of movies and I want to watch a lot of others too. There are a few movies that are relatively recent and made a difference in my life. "Lost In Translation", by Sofia Coppola and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", by Michel Gondry are two good examples.
The kind of movies I watch depend a lot on my mood, though. I'd say I have an eclectic taste. From Tarkovsky's "Stalker" to Allen's "Midnight in Paris" or Kubrik's "2001: A Space Odyssey". And of course "Star Wars". Who doesn't like Star Wars? And Firefly. And Cowboy Bebop. Oh the list goes on...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You know what people say about seeing your entire life in your head when you think you're about to die? I've actually seen that! Luckily I lived to tell the story :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Photography: I can teach, learn and share anything photography-related -- I'm pretty good with all the technical stuff so feel free to ask. I can talk about photography for hours if you get me going, so beware :)
Of course, I'm always willing to learn a few things too.
Languages: I really want to improve my Spanish right now. And my French. And after that I want to learn Italian and German. I can *try* (emphasis on "try" because I don't know if I'm any good at teaching languages) to teach you Portuguese or English.
Music: I can show you a few Portuguese bands if you want to and I'm always curious about stuff I don't know. Also, I'd like to learn how to play the guitar.
Food/Drink: Here I'm definitely a learner; I can cook but I'm no chef... if you know what I mean :). So learning a few things about cooking wouldn't hurt.
I also want to learn more about wine and beer -- I enjoy both but I'm no connoisseur.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring some Portuguese wine if you're interested.
