Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life and eat goodies from all nations
ABOUT ME
If modern science came up with a pill that converted desserts into all the nutrients and vitamins that your body needed, dessert would be 99.9% of my diet. At least for the first fortnight. Then maybe it would become 98%.
PHILOSOPHY
Strive to be as happy as possible and not to take people/things for granted.
Sticky tape is the answer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm looking forward to my first CS experience in a week =) Keep you posted..
Interests
Everything fun! But my true love is food, mainly to eat, and on occasion to bake/cook. If I had to choose, I'd probably pick sweet over savory, but why make such a difficult decision? Otherwise I love the snow and have been spoilt by experiencing what "real" snow is (ie. snow outside of Australia).
So in no particular order, I like: Skiing, salsa, jive, live music, jazz, foraging and random adventures, new things, experiencing local cultures and chilling out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: L'Auberge Espagnole (Spanish Apartment), Les Poupees Rousses (Russian Dolls), Die Hard 3, Fifth Element, Matrix (even though it had some dodgey moments) and embarassingly I adore crap chick flicks (mmm Chasing Liberty).
Music: Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Portishead, Belle and Sebastian, Powderfinger, DJ Tiesto, Moloko, the Whitlams, Ben Folds Five, Miles Davis - I'll listen to most things.
Books: fluffy easy to digest books are great for travelling (like Dan Brown, but his books are all suspiciously similar). Otherwise fantasy books, American Psycho was surreal, Narnia =) classics like Oscar Wilde and Tolstoy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My one year exchange in Grenoble, France. Is that cheating? I suppose that one year of ERASMUS covers many many amazing things.. =) All night stints in Budapest, crazy drinking in France, mammoth walks in Manchester... ahhh to be on exchange again.
