ABOUT ME
I love running, biking, everything outdoors, camping, Boy Scouts (yes, I'm a girl in Boy Scouts), traveling, cooking, ...and even washing dishes.
I'm a PhD candidate studying sanitation in low-income countries - working to reduce the number of children who needlessly die annually from preventable diarrhea.
PHILOSOPHY
Learn as much as you can. Do as much as you can. Live and love, be friendly and positive, have fun and enjoy. Help others, be responsible, and make the most of your abilities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't hosted anyone yet and will be traveling in the near future, but I'm excited to host as soon as I have a place. I love meeting people, learning about their world, and exchanging stories!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've formally surfed once in NYC, once in Greece, and three times in Istanbul, but I've also slept on couches in China.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw a wild elephant in Thailand and wild monkeys in Indonesian Bornea. I've climbed Mt. Kinabalu in Malaysia and been to the Patola Palace in Tibet. I've ridden on a train for nearly 130 hours and am still in one piece!
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge of how to travel cheaply and pack light. How to travel with no plan and have an excellent time.
