About Me

CURRENT MISSION

What isn't.

ABOUT ME

I am a poly atheist quasi-vegan writer/anthropologist/ archaeologist/vegetarian chef.

I have always wanted to know everything about everything. The world has so much to offer in manners, thoughts and ways of being. What better way than to see it for myself.

PHILOSOPHY

There is a thin line drawn between genius and madness. I drew mine in pencil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am active in the Chicago CouchSurfing community as a participant and an organizer. I have hosted dozens of surfer's over the past ten years and am looking forward doing a great deal of surfing as I travel.

I used to co-run a CS house called The Mayhem Manor. You can find more references on the house page: https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/mayhemmanor/

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The friendships forged, the adventures shared, and the sense of family created have made the CouchSurfing community, both local and global, one of the more rewarding experiences of my adult life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Over the past fifteen, I have become deeply passionate about food. From where it come's from to how it's grown, and of course how to prepare it in ways that can sate the hunger of both the body and spirit. I am always more than willing to share what I have learned along the way.

I am fascinated by everything and am always open to learning something new. From knowledge of the mind such as languages, music, and histories to knowledge of the heart, different ways of being, living, and feeling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always strive to be a model houseguest and leave a very small footprint. I am also an certified computer tech so if you are having computer issues, I am happy to lend a hand.
