ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Mathias.
I'm a 34 year old, laid-back and open-minded guy from Hamburg, Germany.
For a living I work as a copywriter.
But when I try to get out of the office as often as I can to travel and surf.
But since Germany is not necessarily famous for its waves I try to get my regular dose of ocean and surf elsewhere.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile and be friendly.
Live and let live.
That's pretty much it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to travel away from the common tourist track and get to know interesting and friendly local people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Besides housing friends for a weekend now and then I got no experience.
But some friends of mine have (all great).
Edit: I couchsurfed in Mexico in 2014 and the hospitality I enjoyed was unbelievable.

I had the opportunity to visit some very inspiring and awesome places and met some great people along the way.
Hopefully this trip keeps on like this.
