About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world with my boyfriend.
ABOUT ME
Currently traveling across Europe and Asia with Charlie, who happens to be my boyfriend. The central part of our trip is to take the transsiberian railway from Moscow to Beijing.
We both decided to say goodbye to Paris for a while and see the whole eurasian continent across. From september to january, we'll be touring Poland, Ukraine, Russia by transsiberian train, Mongolia, China and Thailand. Hoping to see as much as possible along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
Angela Davis was just pretty right about a lot of stuff !
Go as far as possible, and see if everything is better there. If it's not, just go further.
Cheap beer is good beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well right now I'm just looking for people who can host me / hang out with me / show me their city / share a coffee-beer / etc.
I can't host anymore for the next few months (years?) as I'm on the road, beating the pavement with my whole life in a backpack.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Both surfed and couched, always enjoyed it ^^. Charlie is pretty new to couchsurfing but I daresay he can fit on any couch you might have.
Interests
Politics. Everything is politics. Even if you don't call yourself a political person, you are one. And from here, from this point of view, everything else : philosophy, music, litterature, you, travel, beer, concerts, live music, geeky humour, gigglings, shoes, hip hop history, travelers tips, backpackers stories, vegetarian food, discovering new places -bars, streets, concert rooms...- in my city, Paris - I love Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Asian culture, languages, fashion, anti-fashion, underground culture, beer with my friends, writing, remembering thoughtful quotes, history, etc. You know what I mean, don't you ?

Music, Movies, and Books
Books : Les chants de Maldoror (Lautréamont), Heart or darkness (Conrad), Midnight's children (Rushdie), Par delà le bien et le mal & Généalogie de la morale (Nietzsche), Surveiller et Punir & Histoire de la sexualité (Foucault), Gender Trouble (Butler), Réflexions sur les causes de la liberté et de l'oppression sociale (Weil), Recherches Philosophiques (Wittgenstein), Making Up People (Hacking), Électre (Giraudoux), Alcools (Apollinaire), Les Fleurs du mal (Baudelaire), Le dernier jour d'un condamné à mort (Hugo), L'Homme révolté (Camus), King Kong Théorie (Despentes), and so many other ones.
Music : If I had to pick up the main styles in what i listen to I would have to admit that I musically don't like 50% of it, but i'm listening to it for other reasons : because i've heard it too much and so i know the lyrics, because that makes me laugh, because the lyrics are about something i'm experiencing in the actual period, because that brings memories inside my mind, because we get sooo silly listening to it with my friends -i'm a faghag, turning hysterical about a song is one of my hobbies, because i love the bass line, etc. Then, in the 50% that stay and that i actually like, the main styles are : hip hop, french rap, dubstep, drum and bass, rock and roll, British punk, German punk, early reggae. No hippie music, but Janis Joplin. And Bob Dylan. And Jimi Hendrix. Well, that's all.
Movies : One flew over the cuckoo's nest, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, and some other ones. I don't like sitting in front of a screen when it's not a computer one. Ah, and I don't remember the stories, I only remember i liked the movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived 8 months in India and Nepal, hitchhiked for 4000 km (2500 miles) on an european-cheap-tour, walked 5416 meters (3.4 miles) high in the Himalayas, bungee jumped from 60 meters high, had a party under Paris in the Catacombs, went through Vietnam, Thailand and India on my own, and traveled 24 countries so far !
Teach, Learn, Share
Share : well, i'll assume you got that one.
Learn : Travelers tips, personal stories, musical advice, Chinese, Swedish, vegetarian/vegan recipes and so many other stuff. Og so i'd like to learn how to put an arbitrary end to something. Cause that's so hard to do.
Teach : Vegetarian/vegan recipes, some French political stuff, some philosophical stuff, well, you'll get it.
Countries I’ve Visited
