About Me

-nature, metal, punk, music, drumming

Hello fellow traveller,

I am an ecologist and work at a nature protection foundation with lizards. In my spare time I play drums in a Punk and a Stoner Rock band. I am interested in alternative culture, nature and good music and can show you good places here. You can stay here for a couple of days and enjoy Berlin and we can drink a tea or have a beer or two and share our views on the world. Sometimes im busy with work and life, sometimes there is more time and I can show you interesting spots. We will see!
I haven't used couchsurfing in a while and was surprised that you have to pay for the service. You can support alternative non-profit hosting networks and send me the request as well at trustroots:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So many people helped me in my past travels in so many ways (lifts when I hitchhiked, places to sleep , great moments to share) that I want to give something back and host travellers. So I put a sleeping couch in my kitchen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing a couple of times in Melbourne, Sydney, Berlin and Mannheim.

Music, Movies, and Books

My current favorite music groups are right now Gojira, Fucking Angry, The Taxpayers, Los Chicos del Maiz and King Hannah. I go most of the time to Metal, Grindcore, Punk, Stoner etc. concerts and prefer handmade music rather than electronic stuff.

One of my favourite authors ist Tony Vigorito who wrote the two amazing books "Nine kinds of Naked" and "Just a couple of days". Also surreal, crazy books like the Illuminatus triology from Robert Shea und Robert Anton Wilson are on my list of all time favorites. Terry Pratchett has a place in my book shelf.
