About Me
CURRENT MISSION Help build a better world by connecting to those around me, discovering the ways in which we need each other and can love each other. ABOUT ME I'm 27 years old, living in Boston Massachusetts where I grew up. I've been a union organizer for 5 years, fighting to make the world a more just and fair place for workers, people of color, and anyone who doesn't have power in their day to day life. In my free time I'm an avid hiker, bar-hopper, whiskey drinker, poet, party-hoster, I run a non-profit about providing opioid addiction awareness and musical opportunities to young people. I like to read in coffee shops and bars, I like getting to know people. I love hitch-hiking and adventuring. As Herman Hesse says, "One never reaches home, but where paths that have an affinity for each other intersect, the whole world looks like home, for a time." But I also have wanderlust and the desire to test myself and throw myself into situations which I am not familiar with. I am conflicted because I think trees express the most enviable, beautiful, sublime, peaceful existence there is. But I am not a tree. I am a man. I try to learn from trees what I can, but ultimately I must move my feet. I love hanging with kids. PHILOSOPHY One day I wish only to be a yea-sayer. At times it is difficult to move with a view of how arbitrary meaning is without an objective justification, but most of the time this is a motivation to create meaning and beauty and connection. separation is an illusion.
