I like music, I am learning to play the drums right now. My favorite band is the black keys, anything bluesey I am into. I like some indie type bands, helio sequence, elliot smith, etc. classic rock: cream, yes, black sabath, pink floyd led zepplin etc. I also like listening to the jazz, classical, folk, or blues radio programs .

I love reading its my favorite hobby, My favorite book is the little prince. I love books on psychology and sociology, how people behave, evolutionary psychology, evolotion, social topics, books on strange events and unexplained phenomena. I dont read much fiction anymore, but I love the classics, mark twain, jane austen, arthur conan doyle, etc. all the great socially aware fiction, 1984, animal farm, the jungle, brave new world, black like me, uncle toms cabin. and I also read comics, or graphic novels, Promethea, V for vendetta, Y the last man, walking dead, etc.

I am always listening to the radio, programs such as democracy now, fresh air, alternative radio, this american life, wait wait dont tell me, any activist radio programs or on public boradcasting.

I dont watch much tv anymore, but the programs I do like are: arrested development, the office, 30 rock is my favorite show, Ventrue brothers, the might bosch, The daily show, boondocks, true blood, doctor who, its always sunny in philidelphia. etc,.

These are the places you are most likely to find me, dance class, work, library, park, gym, kitchen, basement, riding my bike, music venues, or the river.

Understanding is the one thing I try to acheieve, by putting myself in other people situations, by trying new things, by experiences, I am curious by nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, my friend told me about it, and I feel like this is a wonderful opporunity for me to meet new people, and learn about there life, and there reality. Not just going to another country and doing the touristy thing, but understanding what life is actually like there.

兴趣

Everything.. seriously. I am interested at least a little in almost everything. I Especially find it interesting when other people explain there passion/ or interest for something to me. Even if I may not agree with their opinion.
