ABOUT ME

I've always got my paws in the honey pot.

A natural loner and a strong introvert, I sometimes struggle with groups of people and most often choose quality one-on-one or small group time. The exception to this is typically being an active participant in Denver's local BDSM scene, however even then, I tend to the sidelines or simply to playing amongst trusted partners and friends. I wouldn't call it anti-social, I definitely wouldn't call it shy. Just comfortable. Observational. Inquisitive. Things of the sorts. It certainly doesn't stop me from enjoying meeting new people and making new connections.

I'm currently a sociology student working two part time jobs that both have my heart. One, with a day program for adults with disabilities, the other, as a pro-domme, or professional dominatrix if you'd rather. I have a passion for creating outlets for people to best be themselves, guiding them into their experiences, and teaching them about the worlds that exist outside of their own heads. I get to learn a lot about the worlds that exist outside my own head in the process.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past, I've lived in houses that were able to regularly host surfers and CS events. Presently, I live with my partner, and we don't typically have the space to hose over nighters. I'm still always happy to meet with people for coffee and tell them about our lovely city and surrounding mountains and learn about their stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some incredible people in the past through the local community and as traveling surfers, and I remain active friends with a few of them. I've always been amazed at the types of good-hearted people that come through CS. It's good for my introverted soul. =]

Music is easy. Everything from jazz to folk to bluegrass to singer/songwriters to funk to soul to gospel to hip hop to rock and roll to punk to experimental to choral music to classical music... I love creativity, raw expression, intuitive songwriting, grooves, smokey vocalists, technical skills, all the things I wish I was better at as a musician myself.

My typical tastes in movies include horror films and science fiction.

Tastes in books usually follow a similar pattern to movies, with the addition of feminist spiel and things of the sorts. And Winnie the Pooh. Lots of Winnie the Pooh.
