ABOUT ME

I am back from a year abroad in Germany and a crazy European adventure. It's a really awesome thing to take yourself out of your element and just go for something. I have itchy feet and I think I will be constantly thinking about the next place I want to travel to and the next adventure I want to embark on. The world is too awesome to not jump in...

-someday i want to live on the beach, nothing fancy--honestly i want a beach shack with surfboards and plants everywhere; animals and the environment are really important to me and it really hits a soft spot for me...; i have two lovely younger sisters that i have so much love for :)

***Hi, my name is Shannon Durst. Emily and I share this couchsurfing account since all our couchsurfing experiences have been together so far! Couchsurfing is my favorite way of traveling! I love experiencing places with locals. I recommend cousurfing to EVERYONE! By the way, I'm the blonde one in the pictures, and am also from California and currently studying in Tübingen, Germany. Next semester I will be in Konstanz. Unfortunately, at the moment I do not have an available couch, but when I return home in August '09 I will have a room in San Francisco available for couch surfers!***
