Emir and Eylul, both 24 years old from Istanbul, recently relocated to New Zealand on a Working Holiday visa. Our goal is to discover this stunning nation, interact with new people, and embrace all the experiences that come our way.

A bit about us: We’re creative souls who love music, art, and all things inspiring. Emir is also a DJ and has performed at several clubs and events. Eylul is marketer and someone with an interest in crafts and a love for art. Other than art, we’re out enjoying nature, hiking, or trying out new sports. We’re both non-smokers, tidy, and organized, and we value good company and positive vibes.

Music, Movies, and Books

In recent years, we had the chance to discover Ari Aster, a director we now call our favorite. He’s the genius behind Hereditary and Midsommar. Aside from his work, some of our favorite movies from last year were Oppenheimer and Poor Things. We’re drawn to films with a touch of drama and the vibe of festival selections.

When it comes to music, we are total music nerds with playlists spanning countless genres. We also love to shoot videos, so music and films are frequent topics of conversation for us—we love diving into deep discussions about both!
