I am an open-minded recent college graduate that loves to travel and learn about other cultures!

ABOUT ME

Ever since I began traveling in 2007, spending two weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia, I've been bitten by the travel bug and can't get enough. I've studied in Brazil and Turkey and have also traveled through Europe.

When I am not traveling I enjoy almost any activity outdoors which is why I love Seattle so much. In the winter I try to ski as much as I can, in the summer I go sailing, hiking and backpacking, and I try to run as often as possible all year round.

My commitment to my education has kept me in the library quite often these past few years but on a rainy day I don't really mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only couchsurfed a couple of times, and I plan to do more in the near future. When I get settled in at Berkeley I will be able to host, but right now things are a bit crazy since I've relocated here from Seattle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in different areas of Turkey and greatly enjoyed every experience. Every host is unique, and I am really fortunate to get to know such generous and amazing people. I can't wait to one day be able to reciprocate the wonderful hospitality that has been shown to me during my experiences abroad.

I love almost all types of music...though I have trouble listening to country or heavy rock/metal

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

3 days on a boat cruising down the Amazon River. Swimming in it one day and catching piranhas and crocodiles the next. Absolutely amazing.
