ABOUT ME
This profile was created when Eysi (myself) and Krissi did their epic journey around the Middle-East and the Indian subcontinet in 2008. Hence the confusing CS name. Since then it´s been used by Eysi during his various rambles and by us both when in Reykjavik, Iceland.
I studied mathematics with a minor in philosophy and I'm currently working as a software developer. Hoping to intertwine the both in near feature and venture in the world of neural networks, complex systems and artificial intelligence. Also played semi-professional basketball as a youngster.
When not wrestling with numbers and logic, I like to hang out with my daughter, do marathon dance sessions at the many fine clubs of Berlin and of course travel. Which is probably why I'm such a fan of beat literature, old folk tunes, long train rides and all the other cliches. The further off the beaten track the better.
I'm currently living in Berlin with my girlfriend and baby daughter (and some other people actually, so no stranger to communal living).

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: All the classics.
Music: Open to all but mostly listen to indie, hiphop and singer/songwriter stuff as well as a bunch of techno since moving to Berlin. Favourite artists include: Bright Eyes, Bob Dylan, Joanna Newsom, Jeffrey Lewis and the likes from the folk and indie scene and the Ostgut crew and legends like Robert Hood when it comes to techno.
Books: On the Road, Dharma Bums, Junky, Nausea, 100 Years of Solitude, Everything is Illuminated, Crime and Punishment. Basically beatnik stuff and then the classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ridden the coal train from Nouadhibou in Mauritania, straight across the desert in an open coal wagon.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach about our country and culture. Krissi can teach you the basic guitar chords. Eysi can teach you how to make it look as though you can make any joint crack. Of course we can also share our expierence, knowledge and opinions. We can and want to learn just about everything you can teach us.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Willingness to help with food and household chores, experiences, thoughts and good times.
