We are two restless Aussie travellers in our late 20s, who left their jobs to embark on what we're sure will be an incredible adventure throughout Europe for a length of time currently unknown!

We are doing it on a strict budget but not letting that get in the way - we look forward to being a little out of our comfort zones and saying yes to new and unfamiliar opportunities! We both agree wholeheartedly that while we want to explore the globe, there isn't much point to it without engaging with locals who love showing off their country and sharing their culture!

We both live for music and art and Luke loves watching and playing sport while Erin enjoys vegetarian cooking, long distance running & exploring the rugged outdoors. We look forward to seeing some cool street art around and discovering local bands and different genres that we aren't exposed to in Australia. We're also terribly addicted to coffee so hopefully we find other caffeine lovers to share a brew with!

We both love animals and miss the pets (a dog and a cat) that we sadly gave away to happy homes before we left to travel. We will happily cuddle and adore any animals you might have!

While we are yet to host surfers of our own, we have had plenty of mates and mates-of- mates crash with us. We understand that opening your home to others and especially strangers, takes a great deal of trust and generosity. We aim to honour that by being clean, quiet and respectful surfers. We hope to leave your home confident in the knowledge that you would gladly have us back and have you know that you would be warmly welcomed in our own home too.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Travelling in a foreign country can be pretty overwhelming at times and it can be difficult to know where to find essentials (such as the best coffee!) Even travelling as a couple can get lonely & living in one another's pockets overbearing. Couchsurfing provides an opportunity to not only meet locals & hopefully make friends with people that we can host in the future, but get a wonderful insight to a place that one would never, ever get if staying at a hotel or consulting a guide book. While we love a fun night out and have certainly been known to leave the bar just as the sun is rising, we're not interested in the wild, party vibe that can be present in many hostels. Hence why Couchsurfing is a great alternative to meeting rad people!

While the concept of a 'free ride' is at the crux of Couchsurfing and we won't deny it appeals to us greatly due to our budget - that isn't why we joined. The chance to become mates with people all over the world is the biggest draw card a traveller could ask for and we cannot wait to get started.

We are a friendly, sociable couple. We love to sit around with friends and chat into the wee hours over a bottle of red (or three hehe!) but we're equally content in our company too, so if you're a busy person, we completely respect and understand that. But if you're the type who wants to take us along to your favourite places? We're in!

Both of us enjoy cooking and would happily cook our hosts meals (which also allows us to sample the local produce. ) As a teacher and one experienced with students whose English is a second language, Erin would relish the chance to help others with their learning of the language.

We intend on assisting with any jobs that we can while there, whether it's cleaning the kitchen, looking after pets, weeding the garden or a bit of manual labour. We're not looking for a free ride and would never expect one!
