ABOUT ME

Sorry for my silence on Couchsurfing. I've actually been between homeless and travelling myself for a long long time and thus, could not host anyone. Plus, I've been working insane hours to save up for travelling and 4 years of tuition fees. So my social life has been pretty non-existant.

Also, because I have been homeless, I haven't been able to get verified :( I will catch up on that as soon as I can!

I've really missed hosting couchsurfers as well as surfing, but hopefully I will get to meet lots of CSers on my next trip. And once I have a flat in Hong Kong, I will be hosting again! Yay!!

PHILOSOPHY

Live for the moment, learn from your mistakes and love without holding back.
Always try and see something of yourself in the other person. It helps to understand and accept and love more easily.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people from all cultures, learn about and from their lives, personalities, skills and have lots of fun with them! Trying to unite the world and broaden my horizon :)

I love opposites to most extremes... waking up in the jungle, hopping out of my hammock, walking barefoot in the mud and bathing in the river as well as drinking champagne while watching the sunset on a fancy rooftop bar. I can get comfortable pretty much anywhere and cherish new and exciting experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There's so much to put here - but I will summarize that I have found most CSers I have met to be amazing, relaxed and happy people. And meeting locals in their home town is always a fantastic experience which adds so much value to travelling. In fact, most cities and villages I love dearly come down to having had brilliant hosts, having met intriguing people and having learned new fun things from them.

Travelling, of course, is right up on that list. I also love charity work and prefer to do it overseas.

Otherwise, I really enjoy reading, puzzles, playing instruments, days at the beach, mad about animals, horse riding, pasta in most variations, pretty dresses, old stuff (buildings, objects, cities), meditation... just to name a few random things...

There's a bunch - I love old movies...North & South, The Thornbirds... and new ones... Mamma Mia, Mirrors, Autumn in NY, Eagle Eye, Taken, Secretary, Down the Rabbithole... A whole bunch really...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did an internship with dolphins in Bermuda and saw a dolphin baby being born while I was in the water with the dolphin mum. Nothing like watching such a powerful mother give new life.

教，学，和分享

I love people who have something to teach me. That can be anything from a skillful sport to the basic facts of life. What can I teach? Maybe a little German? A bit about psychology? And how to smile and believe that things will flow and everything will be alright ;)
