About Me

Hi everyone!

I AM CURRENTLY TRAVELING AROUND THE AUSTRALIA AND SOUTH-EAST ASIA

I’m Ezequiel, I’m 28 years old. I was born in General Roca, a small town in the centre of Argentina, in Cordoba province but I lived my childhood in Marcos Juarez 20 km away from General Roca.

I'm a young Architect. I moved to Cordoba, the second largest city in Argentina to study at university. I lived there the first 3 years with 2 friends and the with my brother and my sister.

I am interested in traveling around the world not only to know and enjoy different places and its people but also to learn to appreciate even more my country, my town and my environment.

I'm Argentinian so I like football (soccer), I link the football (soccer) with the friendship. Always, when I can, I meet with my group of friends to play it, go to the stadium or watch the matches in the TV.

I’m passionate for all the types of Architecture but above everything, I am fond of Collective Housing and I wish to gain knowledge about this kind of Architecture around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m convinced that the world is a safer place than most of people believe and I would like experiment it, so I think that Couchsurfing is the best way to do that !

I’m keen on meeting people and get to know them in deep, so I need to learn about your experiences, languages, music, food, cinema and all your interests. I think that spending time with local people is the best way to know a culture deeply , so I think that Couchsurfing is the best way to do that !

I want to learn about politics and economics of the different parts of the world, so I think that Couchsurfing is the best way to do that !

Music, Movies, and Books

Latin American literature (as Eduardo Galeano, Gabriel García Márquez), history, philosophy...

Mainly Argentinian or Latin American music (as Mercedes Sosa, Fito Páez, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Redonditos de Ricota, Soda Stereo, Silvio Rodriguez). At night, my taste extends to everything that would be danceable and enjoyable.

Preferably National or Independent movies, most of them very classic! Independent films like Tarantino's ones (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django, Inglorious Bastards), Pedro Almodóvar’s (Talk to Her, The skin I live in, Volver) or Woody Allen’s (Everything you always wanted to know about sex - But were afraid to ask-, Annie Hall, Match point, Midnight in Paris, To Rome with love).

I like National (Argentinian) movies and I love recommending them. For example, "El lado oscuro del corazón", "Nueve reinas", "El hijo de la novia", "El secreto de sus ojos", "Relatos Salvajes". I consider that Argentinean cinema is amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand was an amazing experience. I worked in different kind of jobs that I’ve never imagined before. I’ve been working as a labour at a construction site, as a kitchen hand in a restaurant, as a picker in the cherries season and as a tray maker in kiwifruit season! Each job was performed in a different place around South and North island in New Zealand, moving from a city to another every 3 months, for almost one year!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn English very well (and obviously other languages too!). In fact, I'm passionate about learning. I consider cultural feedback is essential to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My good vibes, my friendship and happiness, my culture and language, my time, my vision of life. A walk. A drink. A chat. The music I like. The books I read. The sports I enjoy and the movies I watch. My home, my family and friends. A moment. My life.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
