I am a 23-year-old girl who enjoys traveling, meeting with new people and hanging out. I was born in İstanbul, Turkey and I've lived in Skövde, Sweden during my Erasmus in spring 2018. I love Sweden and Swedish culture and am currently learning Swedish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it exciting to meet new people and share experiences. Getting to know a culture with locals is always better. Currently, I am not able to host but I hope I will be when I move into my own place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Every kind of music is fine to me, I would like to hear your favorite artists and music. I am a big fan of older sitcoms like Friends, The Office and also enjoy watching some romantic movies. Game of Thrones and Westworld are my other favorites. I also like sci-fi and horror movies. For books, I am not a quite good reader but I love Marquez, as you might guess from here my favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my Lappland trip, I've got the courage to jump in an ice-cold lake with bikinis when it was -7 degrees outside. It was an amazing experience for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about new cultures and languages and also teach those back. I don't think that someone wants to learn about Economics but if there is one, I would like to share some basic information. And ofc, I can tell you about Turkish culture.
