ABOUT ME

i love to dance, meet people, chat, laugh, dance, sing, do yoga, meditate, eat amazing food and dance! I love art, particularly performance art and try to see as much as i can. I'm currently traveling with 7 hula hoops so i can even teach you some tricks! I teach dance, yoga and circus to children when in Australia and also abroad as volunteer work. I'm part of an 80's dance troupe called the Real Hot Bitches. I perform as Jane Fondle :)
Almost forgot: i am the "Twister" champion of the world! That's absolutely serious, i'll have to tell you about it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed a little bit in 2007 and didn't participate again until last year, surfing in Istanbul, France, Spain and Morocco. I love staying with locals in their town/city and getting to see a place through the eyes of someone who lives there.
I am still yet to host other couch-surfers and I hope to do this soon but right now I am sleeping in my tee-pee at a friend's house until I find a room so I can give people great advice on Melbourne for now and hopefully host soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2007 I couchsurfed in Vienna and Paris and all 3 experiences were fun. I've just returned to Melbourne after a big travel, including couch-surfing in Istanbul, France, Spain and Morocco. Aside from a weird experience in Morocco, it's all been great and I've met some amazing people who I am still in contact with and hope to see again. I've found CS great for meeting locals who may not be able to host but have time to show you around to cool secret places you wouldn't find otherwise, as well as giving you an insight into how the locals live.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I mostly like electronic music- techno, minimal, ambient, chill, dub, breakbeat, dubstep, funky beats. and of course I love 80's music, given that I'm in an 80's dance troupe. I love world music also.... I guess anything that makes me wanna shake my booty.
Books: Tom Robbins and Paulo Coehlo novels. "Hullabaloo and the Guava Orchard", "Vernon God Little", "The Life of Pi". I'm on a current mission to read biographies or great historical leaders/ revolutionaries- Gandhi, Che Guevera, Mandela, etc.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I spent one month working on the Thailand/Burma border, teaching Burmese refugee children dancing and circus skills. I worked in 4 schools each day and enjoyed working with the children so much, they're absolutely incredible kids. It was such a great experience!
I lived in far north Queensland in Australia for 6 months last year and saw a lot of amazingly beautiful nature... even a crocodile in the wild!
Lots of amazing travels, too many things to list.
I've seen some beautiful sites in my travels, particularly in Australia, Croatia, India, Spain, Morocco and Thailand. I've seen many crazy and funny things in Japan. Spent 3 days in a Zen Buddhist temple in Japan which was an amazing experience.

I lay naked on a major road in melbourne among 4000 others for a Spencer Tunik photo. It was only around 10 degrees celcius... brrrrr!!

oops... it says list "one" amazing thing. hahaha. oh well.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Ok let's see, I can teach you the following things:
Yoga, meditation, fire-twirling, hula hooping. I think there's more crazy tricks but i can't think right now. Ooh, daggy dance moves also. I'm on a mission to learn Spanish this year (and now Turkish!) and I also love speaking Japanese and only know a little, would love to know more. I am a qualified yoga teacher and love teaching it and I also enjoy meditating, particularly in a group. I can also teach some meditation techniques.
